Brent Criddle
President
Brent Criddle began his extensive sales and finance career with the Larry H Miller Group of Companies where he was a Leasing and Finance Director. It was during this time that he actively developed a sales pattern that would shape the rest of his career. He recognized that people don’t want to be sold to, they want businesses to listen to their needs and provide relevant solutions.
After graduating with a B.S. degree in Finance from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, Brent decided to take his sales, finance and leasing experience to the mid-ticket equipment leasing market. In 2001, he joined a start-up company, Applied Financial, as an Account Executive. He quickly rose to the top of the sales team as he created lasting relationships with businesses throughout the country. He was promoted to Marketing Manager and following additional sales growth; he was promoted to Vice President of Sales. His sales teams were consistently among the top producing teams for the company. In 2006, after years of successful growth, Applied Financial was acquired by the Marquette Financial Companies. Brent learned for the first time, how to operate within the regulatory framework as a bank-owned leasing company. During this time, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and took on a greater role in managing the sales department. Marquette Financial sold to Pacific Western Bank in 2012 where he continued his successful sales path. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales in 2015 and was responsible for all sales functions. Pacific Western Bank sold their equipment finance division to BofI Federal Bank in 2016.
In 2016, Brent saw an opportunity that he felt was missing from today’s marketplace. After working for years in highly-regulated and increasingly structured banking environments, he decided to leave BofI and join with other seasoned leasing professionals, Lon Secrist and Derek Turley, to form TCS Equipment Finance. He is excited at the opportunity to use his mix of entrepreneurial and banking experience to bring highly-customized, yet approvable financing to the mid-ticket leasing market. He is currently organizing a customer focused sales team that will complement the top-tier documentation and credit teams at TCS.
